Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion also known as The Blue Mansion is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. I had seen countless photos of this beautiful boutique hotel, but as I walked in I realized that even the best pictures cannot do it justice. I had a chance to stay at this 19th-century building. We chose The Ming Collection Room where guests can have direct access to the pool and another one, the Han Collection Room where there is a separate sitting room with a daybed and the ensuite bathroom has a gorgeous clawfoot bathtub. If you’ve watched the Crazy Rich Asians movie, you’ll be delighted to know that Cheong Fatt Tze’s Blue Mansion was the setting for the movie’s memorable mahjong scene.
